1. Who is the pundit on the right side/
Excuse for not knowing the names of these GOP jerks. Probably would recognize the A-hole by name. But just tell me the name of the clown wearing glasses w/the brown hair.

You know the one that gets a viscious bloody nose from Congressman Frank.

4. Wall Street Journal editorial board member Steve Moore
Total idiot and Frank didn't let him get away with his stupid comments, either. This was on Real Time with Bill Maher Friday night.

17. Oh it was great
Frank did great and the WSJ guy was really annoying with his rightwing talking points.

8. Also a founder of the Right Wing 'Club for Growth' tax "reform" shill ...
... organization.

He's a very weak pundit, usually giggling his way through propaganda he himself appears to believe comical, and demonstrates through his behavior the degree of concern that he has for how the policies he supports affect the working class.

Kudos to Barney Frank for making Moore look the fool that he is.

15. Hmmm... I'm starting to like this Steve Moore guy, more and more...
Take this snippet from a Denver Post op-ed, "Howard Dean’s 50-state strategy paying off" ...
And then, strange things happened in Idaho. ... The GOP staged a crowded, nasty primary, in which an out-of-state, right-wing interest group — the Club for Growth — spent heavily to promote an idiosyncratic, ultra- conservative state representative, Bill Sali, who emerged the victor with 25 percent of the vote.
Thank you Steve Moore, you incompetent boob.

2. Marvelous, absolutely marvelous.
Is it my imagination, or are more outspoken Democrats being welcomed on talk shows these days?

9. Maher doesn't count. Dems have been welcome there for ages.
Not sure how far Left Maher goes for guests, but he does bring in a range. His best shows are those where the Right Wing pundits are left-out, allowing a reasoned, democratic discussion to unfold.

6. Moore lost his smarmy, mocking smile
every time Franks called him out. It was glorious!

7. Some people believe it's "ugly" to savor the Foley scandal
that shed light on Rethug hypocrisy & some people believe savoring the hypocrisy is damaging to law-abiding gays. On the other hand, Barney, a gay congressman, is focusing on the hypocritical "you-can-have-your-cake-&-eat-it-too" mindset of the Rethugs. If he's worried about how this scandal may open up a larger can of worms & accelerate gay-bashing, he didn't mention it, but it seems to me that if that were a concern, this outspoken congressman would have said it during the discussion.

11. I love Barney. He's so quick witted and smart.
Also direct and to the point, without stooping to childishness. I am watching Real Time right now, as I was away this weekend, and he just rocks. There is no republican out there who can stand up to him and out debate him on any issue, none.

13. exACTly...but the question looms large:
WHERE IS HE on the national debate scene?

he's almost NEVER on TV

instead we constantly are subjected to the feckless likes of Donna Brazille, Paul Begala (WTF happened to HIM?), or any number of house-trained, polite blatherers, who just sit there and let lie after lie pass into the ether, unrefuted.

12. The beautiful thing, what more dems need to do, is completely
call the rethugs every time they change an uncomfortable topic, and every time they pull baloney ut of their asses, and everytime they put words and thoughts in a dems mouth. The national party needs to put Frank front and center.

22. Excellent Barney!
Moore tried to dodge the hypocrisy and Frank wouldn't let him.

When you practice anything freely and at the same time endorse making the thing criminal for rest of society you are at the height of hypocrisy.
