We do not choose to be progressive ot conservative. Bill Maher ended his debate with O'Rielly by saying he'd gladly give back his tax break. That's the difference. It's not education,upbringing, or luck. Maybe it's all of those and compassion?

the only difference is what they believe is reality and what they know about reality, and their point of view

2. Not everyone has compassion.

Some people know about reality and still act like they believe in something else. Even if it means hurting America. Those people have no compassion for their children or future generations, IMO.

3. It is called being an adult. Adults fight their battles with empathy,

intellect, might and discernment. And they don't let other do all their thinking for them.

As to insight... we were all naive when faced with nefarious types suddenly in our lives. We understand liars better now. But you are right that the difference between you and a GOP political operative is that they will do things you could never dream of or think of or carry out..cause you have a conscience.

Not all people have compassion or empathy. Some, about 1% of the population have none at all. Absolutely no feelings to do with empathy and such. They don't even process emotional words in their brains the same way the other 99% of the population does.

4. Bill Maher and any other richie can give back their tax break anytime

they want. The government will happily take it back. Anyone can donate to the government.
