OK, I can see why a president like Bush would want to "claim" expansive powers under the theory of the "unitary executive." Bush is a power-mad lunatic who aspires to be a dictator.
But for a JUDGE to promote such a theory - which essentially argues that the president is above the law and not subject even to court orders in many cases - is bizarre.
A judge who supports the unitary executive theory is like a woman who supports wife beating.
