I'm not in favor of mixed marriage.
I think heterosexuals should only marry heterosexuals
and gays should only marry gays.

Go ahead and flame away.

2. In a devious sort of way, it could be a "good thing"
As housing gets more costly, it makes sense for "couples" to share expenses, and what goes on inside the house..stays inside the house..

Why not

and couples would get to share health care bennies too :)

19. "Lobotomize Republicans! It's the law!" was the saying on a political
pin my son gave me some 20 years ago. However, I would now say that it would be redundant and a waste of taxpayers' money to lobotomize them because anyone who is still voting R is already certifiably brain dead.

10. Could a heterosexual marry a gay and then adopt their partners so as to
take care of the healthcare, survivor annuity, and estate issues?

12. Not necessary. The gays would be married. The heterosexuals would
be married. All the "issues" would be squared away. It's so simple even a Repub could understand it.

There are way too many unwanted Repubs.

16. And furthermore, liberals should never marry fascists.
And republicans shouldn't marry--nor should they have sex outside marriage. Especially without vasectomies or tubal ligations.

17. I think it's okay for gay Republicans to marry, BUT
Edited on Tue Oct-24-06 07:48 PM by pnwmom
it should definitely be illegal for them to adopt.

Hetero Repubs (if there actually are any) should be deported. I hear there's a ranch in Paraguay.

it's to the point now that whenever I find myself interested in a guy I just say, yeah, must be gay. I'm almost always right. It's quite amazing, lol.

26. For a woman, gay guys make good friends.
But not good husband material. It might work for a while . . . but sooner or later someone's going to be very unhappy.

On the positive side, at least you have very good gaydar! (My mom could have used that.)

29. My husband and I have *NOTHING* in common --
he is attracted to women, and I'm attracted to men. We're both convinced the other one is "weird" but we are still able to make our marriage work.
