My Grandpa did it after Midway. He smoked for 70 years. He started when he was 19.

My uncle did the fast lane. Got his head knocked off by a prop on a carrier off the coast of Korea.

Strange, the family speaks more about the Grandfather.

Had another relative that smoked. He died in a fire. Apropos, I guess.
