"There is THEIR math. . .Then there is THE math"
A response from Rove I heard on the radio today in reference to all of the predictions of big Dem wins in the House and/or Senate.

Now doesn't that just give you a warm and fuzzy feeling all over. . .?

/sarcasm

Did anybody else catch that not so choice bon mot?

1. he sounded nearly hysterical in that interview....
Everyone talks about how confident Rove and Bush are-- I think Bush just parrots whatever his handlers tell him, but Rove sounded like he was on the verge of panic in that interview, angry and fearful at the same time. That was not the voice of a confident man.

2. I hope you are absolutely correct in your interpretation.
I simply couldn't cut through the overbearing OTT arrogance. Ughhh.

But I probably unconsciously prefer to not do so.

6. And he sees the "Secret Polls" nobody else can see, and he just sounded
really tense and hyper, and was so engrossed in trying to one-up the interviewer that he was interrupting but then stammering and unable to finish a thought -- I was really surprised at how inept he sounded.

3. I heard it too. Rove was nasty, combative, bullying...
It was on NPR.

I'm not sure you got the exact wording in the math quote right, but you got the idea.

9. He's smiling because he just got a private cell at Marion Federal
Pen. Means he won't have to listen to another guy snore. Seriously, I heard it on the internet.
