Is the Soldier's press conference on TV anywhere?
Supposed to be at 11am

Chimpy trying to pre-empt with his blathering at 10:30. Is it going to work? Will they ignore the soldiers for this re-run of old talking points? :mad:

5. It was their standard procedure in 2004, too - that or terror alerts.
And media LAPS it up knowing damn well they're being used.

9. Cspan is taking calls after dimson's speech
I'm going to try and get in, ask them when they will be showing the Soldier's conference. According to their schedule, chimpy is pre-empting a replay of the Connecticut Senate Debate

8. Exactly why bush decided to do his last-minute "speech";
regurgitating his usual bullshit.

Sure is scared, isn't he.

Good.

He should be.

13. Can we dare hope that the soldiers, in deference to the
shithead, wait to conduct their presser after the shithead is finished?

18. Guardian article from 3 hours ago
http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story/0,,1931212,00.html

A US marine will today go public with his opposition to the war in Iraq as part of a campaign to petition Congress to bring US troops home.
Sergeant Liam Madden - who was against the war even before being sent to Iraq with his unit in late 2004 - is one of more than 100 soldiers on active duty who have organised the petition drive through a website called Appeal for Redress. http://www.appealforredress.org/

nothing in the US news of course...
