Maliki's outreach to Iran is part of the Bush Plan, right?

We set up a government we hand picked that reaches out to one of the members of Bush's 'Axis of Evil' -- and the Shiites who in majority control of this government are close to the Shiites in control in Iran.

The only logic that can come out of this situation is that the permanent bases being built by the US in Iraq, and the control over Iraqi oil flow, trumps everything.

However, there is the possibility that Bush will attack Iran and try to institute regime change, so that the relations between Iraq and Iran will meet their ideological standard.
