Bush: "I'm not the scheduler of news conferences."

http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2006/10/20061025.html

<snip>

Q Thank you, Mr. President. You talk about the U.S. government and the Iraqi government working closely together on benchmarks. I'm wondering, sir, why was Prime Minister Maliki not at the news conference yesterday with General Casey and Ambassador Khalilzad? Would that not have sent a strong message about there being a very close level of cooperation between the two governments?

THE PRESIDENT: Elaine, I have no idea why he wasn't there.

Q Was he invited, sir?

THE PRESIDENT: I have no idea. I'm not the scheduler of news conferences. I do know they work very closely together, and they've got a very close working relationship, and that's important.

16. No kidding!
I'm just amazed he can actually put four words together at once without stumbling on one of them. Then again, they're pretty small, easy words, like the ones in My Pet Goat; right on his level.

19. Nor is he the Ideator
Once upon a time Bush said he was "a uniter, not a divider." And more recently he's called himself "the decider." He seems to revel in these one-word descriptors, like a kid trying on different fantasy hats--cowboy, fireman, astronaut, pilot.

10. In reality
Maliki was having his car checked for bombs, his neighborhood for snipers etc. Talk about someone living on borrowed time; he'll be whacked sooner or later. A bummer that he can't escort the imbecile and give him an up-close and personal tour of the local hot spots.

12. Well, that does clear a lot up for me.
Bush is The Decider, but NOT The Scheduler.

I already knew he IS The Idiot, so it all comes full circle...

15. Well, if he's the Decider, shouldn't
he then be in charge of Deciding the Schedule? Or, is that too much Decidin' for his little pea brain to take in all at once? Or, maybe he just Decides what he wants to Decide and leaves the Decidin' Scheduling to the little people. IDIOT.

His brain is already taxed to start with.

Breathin'. Blinkin'. Beatin'. Listenin'. Speakin'. Repeat.

It's a lot for an old alcoholic, drug abusin', lyin' hypocrit to do all at once.

13. Perhaps Iraqis fear for their lives by Appearing with Americans?
If you are seen loyal or subservient to the occupiers it is a health risk. But of course everything is going well there unless

You like electricity
You like working
You like health care
You like travelling without fear
You are a professional woman who now has to be veiled and escorted and fear being raped and killed now for something you did freely under Sadam.
You aren't fond of all of that damn violence.

:grr:
