electoral-vote.com prediction: Dems: 228 - Repubs: 205 (2 ties) |
|
Edited on Wed Oct-25-06 01:27 PM by PistolSteve
I've been going to electoral-vote.com since 2004... they compile all the non-partisan polls and average them every week for both the house and senate races. Most of you have been there, but for those who haven't, I thought I'd pass it along. It's great for quickly checking the latest polls.
Right now it looks like:
HOUSE: 228-Democrats, 205-Republicans (2 exact ties) SENATE: 49-Democrats, 51-Republicans (3 statistical ties, with repubs 'leading' in each).
House:
Dem pickups: AZ-01 AZ-08 FL-13 FL-16 IA-02 IN-02 IN-08 IN-09 KY-03 MN-06 NC-08 NC-11 NH-02 NM-01 NY-19 NY-24 NY-25 NY-29 OH-15 OH-18 PA-06 PA-07 PA-10 TX-22 WI-08
GOP pickups: ZIP
I'm not counting my chickens, but it's nice to see optimistic numbers with chances of taking both the house and the senate.

1. They compile non-partisan polls but not the Diebold factor. Hope they |
|
are correct! If nothing else it better force the Dems to fight for their seats.

2. Agreed, but with house numbers this staggering... |
|
...I really think their will be uproar if the repubs keep control.
