I Voted!

I'm a poll observer on election day so I just went to early voting in North Carolina. The machines are touch screen with paper verification. Seeing the paper roll scroll by with my votes sure made me feel better.

It probably sounds silly but I always feel elated after voting. I now have my "I Voted" sticker proudly displayed on my sweater.

Wright has a billboard near my office that says "Sometimes the best democratic choice is a republican" or something like that. :crazy:

4. I voted too. Hate to burst your bubble but even if the paper roll has

the names of those you voted for doesn't mean the votes in the box match and will be counted the way you voted. we need meaningful audits.

13. I voted early here in Ohio last week. It's the first time I've

voted that way but thought I'd do it since you no longer need a special reason to vote early or absentee . It's more convenient for me since the Elections Office is in the same building I work in. And I had forgotten about the special avatar so I fixed that too!
