It's listed as having taken place 20th March 2002. And I can't think what happened in the Senate that day that was of histrocial note. Can anyone help me here?

1. Maybe it was the last day that they actually got some work done
Or perhaps it marks the start of the Foley knowledge ring.

3. Just jumped into Senate Vote Wayback Machine
And found the only vote they took that day was to pass the House version of McCain-Feingold

Naturally, a sizeable number of Pukes voted against it, I wonder why :eyes:

2. Because they sure don't want to show the news conference of
all those active duty soldiers who are against the war. Can't have that.:eyes:

4. Umm 'sister, CSPAN3 is mainly devoted to historical footage
They usually only switch to live events such as Committee Hearings when the House and Senate are in session, as the other two C-Span's are obliged to cover those

7. Thanks, Greeby.
I like to take a stab at 'em every chance I can, and am annoyed no one has mentioned that news conference. I don't have CSPAN-3 so didn't know about the historical footage slant. I do remember
watching it via 'puter for the DSMs.

8. Must have been a busy day,
There was also a protest re: Tom Daschle not reviewing more of *'s nominees, and a hearing on "Accounting and Investor Protection Issues Raised by Enron and Other Public Companies." among others.
