Connecticut, I believe, is 'safe' because they still use the lever system...
Are ALL the other races jeopardized due to easily manipulated voting methods?

3. And a fucking senator who is too cowardly to debate Fleming.
I'm seriously contemplating an invitation instead to go to Ohio to fight election fraud up there and get out the vote.

5. Tennessee - we now have those stupid black box voting machines.
Not Diebold - but Hart Interactive. Hart's not the worst, but they're all pitiful.

9. TX district 22 - DeLay's seat. If Shelly Fibbs comes close to 30%
of the vote, you'll KNOW the fix was in.

She is a write-in candidate who is also on the "special election" section so, as her ads say, "Vote TWICE for SHelly". Trouble is she's on the ballot for the Special Electio but has to be written in for the Gen'l Election...on a machine that hasa ROTARY DIAL mechanism! LOL!

Her minions are temps who don't know better and who've been instructed to stand TEN feet front the door -- that's 90 feet shorted than the law allows. I've been told this by TWO elections judges (REEPS!) at 2 seperate polling locations in the last 2 days. The temp co. that "won" her contract for labor is in deep weeds if they don't cease and desist ASAP. Not to mention that these temp kids have no idea they're breaking the law and probably don't need the hassle for 5.15 per hour...

The election judges seem pretty clean -- mostly seniors who grew up when this country was still a Democracy who have great respect for the system...many of whom became poll workers when THEY were disenfranchised or at least thought they were. Decent, patriotic folk who, btw, are entirely clueles about e-voting beyond how to cast a vote and push a button or two.

This is scary.

11. That's the big safety factor for Dems this year.
There are probably 60-70 competitive House races now, and more appearing daily. The Big Mo is in Dems' favor. With that many races in play, the Repukes have to defend against over a hundred races. That won't happen on the campaign trail, let alone on the electoral game field. It's just not a practical defense and the Repukes know it.

The Repukes are really screwed this year. That's why we're seeing such screwy, personal campaign ads and other dirty campaign tricks. More will undoubtedly be coming in the next two weeks. I can't think that this will work very well as the voters are really, really pissed and weary of all this bullshit.

Plus, the Dem opponents are really hammering hard.

Examples: The Michael J. Fox ad. Harold Ford's response to Corker's race baiting ad. and many others.

We're seeing something good happening here. I don't know if we take back both houses of Congress but we are looking good.

13. Central tabulators are still vulnerable
even where there is a paper ballot trail. Ohio 2004 mainly had paper ballots and that election was hijacked big time.

For those with paper ballots-- how partisan is your Secretary of State and county election officials? Those are the people who can sit on a recount.

14. I was not aware that Ohio used paper ballots in 2004! I guess that
is why Lil' Kenny Blackwell was such an integral part of the plan...

15. Missouri
St. Louis just switched to ES&S e-voting machines. I'm not sure about the rest of the state, but given that the state makeup is primarily Dems in the big cities (STL, KC, Columbia) and Repubs in the rural areas, St. Louis could be enough to flip the state by itself.
