He spoke at the Marin Education Fund. They didn't let him speak long enough.

I shook his hand and said nothing special -- hard to think of something intelligent to say in those situations.

I think he'll be the first black American President.

They had to take out some guy who went nuts screaming about the war -- Obama didn't disagree with him. But he was definitely crazy and inappropriate -- so some guys with earplugs and the sheriff took him out.

11. I like Obama, BUT...
I hope he doesn't run in 2008. I'd rather he run in 2012 if the worst happens, 2016 if we get a good Dem pres in '08. I'd like him to get a little more experience before he goes for the presidency. I think he should focus on energizing the progressive base until it's time to run for reelction (which I believe is 2010) and get a few more years in the Senate before running for president.

12. After years of the Iraq War
Americans will need inspiration in 2008. And at this point the only person I see who can lift us up after the horrors of the Iraq War is Obama.
