The Limbaugh remarks just helped cement the GOP's HATEFUL image
Edited on Wed Oct-25-06 09:01 PM by Atman
I've seen all the threads, I've watched umpteen Cabal News Network segments, and it seems that Rush's remarks are what finally woke up a lot of Americans to the FACT that the GOP is the refuge of racist scoundrels. Hateful, bigoted, if-you're-not-perfect-and-white-and-male-and-rich-like-us assholes of the first order. Big tent, my ass. The only reason any republican would put up a big tent is so the cripples and darkies and welfare mothers don't actually come into the house.

Weren't Vulgar Pig Boy's fifteen minutes up about 14 minutes ago?

You just can't number the horrible things that should happen to this man.

I am paraphrasing, but his remark was close to this.

7. Pig Boy really f*cked up this time
Everyone loves Michael J. Fox and there's an enormous amount of support and compassion for him. Americans "adopted" Alex P. Keaton into their families years ago. Picking on him is like picking on the brother of every American citizen at the exact same time ... and that tends to piss people off!

11. Not to mention that Alex P. Keaton was a "young Republican."
Rush pissed off BOTH sides of the aisle this time.

9. Nixon's "Southern Strategy"
It started then and ever since, Republicans have played to the worst instincts and fears of enough Americans to win elections and get close enough to steal others.

13. Look, we really can't blame Rush...
He was high as a fuckin' kite and a fourteen year old boy was under his desk "distracting" him when he said it.

16. Yes, it's obvious to everyone
that the Repugs are haters who will destroy anyone who disagrees with them. Even the swing voters who don't follow politics closely will wake up about this attack on MJF.

I think that the election is in the bag for the Democrats now. Thanks to Rush.

19. I knew the GOP were evil hateful scum years ago
when they deliberately hurt another disabled group-children with Autism-when they tried to slip legislation into the patriot act to keep families of children from suing the pharma giants who had poisoned them. People should be pissed about this too. :puke:

20. Check out the headlines on Rushie's site
What a jerk!!!!

"The Drive-By Media follows their tried-and-true template:
Limbaugh is the villain, and the Democrat victim is infallible..."

"Michael J. Fox Admits Not Taking Medication Before Some Public Appearances

In this snippet of video, aired by Inside Edition, Fox tells Diane Sawyer about not taking his medication when he testified before Congress..."

(link to video follows, but I refuse to link to that thing)
