Your life's not that important

They'll fight to protect asbestos.

They'll swing a sword to protect corporations from the minimum wage.

They'll send this country's young men and women to die in a pointless war.

They'll make sure their lobbyist friends and their clients are well taken care of.

They'll protect Exxon Mobil from the facts of Global Warming.

But, when you get cancer and can't pay for the treatment, where will they be for you?

Your life's not that important to them, unless you have corporate personhood or are unborn, then things might be different for you.

3. Corporate economists can even tell you how much it's worth
In dollars. They weigh the potential profit of some action against it's potential cost, including damages for loss of life or limb. Whenever a politician promotes "tort reform" he is promoting the devaluation of human life.
