My thoughts for the lurking freeper

This is not intended for those of you who may finally be waking up. It is for the coalition of the dwindling who still blindly march behind the maniacal puppet they hail as their president. By now it should be obvious to all but the dimmest of you that you have been sucked into the mother of all scams. You have echoed the mindless mantra of “Stay the Course” while our sons and daughters come home from his war in an endless parade of coffins draped in a flag that once waved proudly for all of us. Now you must not utter those words again because the miserable failure you have invested all of our futures in has been told that he must now portray strategic flexibility as a pivotal election draws near.

How can you not cower in shame at what you have enabled for whatever noble purpose you thought was being served by his tainted election and dubious re-election. There is nothing left of the standard bearer of your hypocrisy but the hideous caricature of the pious, plain spoken frat boy scion of American greed. He spoke to us today with no new ideas, just higher volume and comic punctuation of the same old crap. He came close to saying that he was accountable but fell back on his 2004 “accountability moment” that he must see as a way to blame his debacle on the American people.

He thinks that history will treat him kindly or mercifully just forget him altogether. I doesn’t take the passage of time to provide clarity to the obvious. The worst president in our history has two more yeas to further undo what brave and honest Americans have taken two hundred thirty years to build. If this poor excuse for a Christian has any character at all he will walk away from an office he never earned, an office he has disgraced perhaps beyond repair. More likely he will hide behind that office and put our nation through the trauma of purging the rot from the keel of our democracy.
