David Kuo on Real Time
I'm watching this fellow on Bill Maher right now and I'm SO impressed with this guy. Now, I'm not a Christian, but this guy sounds like he walks the walk AND talks the talk.

He compares political power in Washington DC to owning one of Tolkein's Rings of Power--a remarkably apt analogy, if you ask me.

He's got his finger on the truth of the matter. This administration and its enablers gain a lot of support by taking Christ's name in vain.

Damn, this was a good episode. Barney Frank, Jason Alexander, and Bill himself tore the hell out of the torture bill.

Awesome.

And who was that weasel from the WSJ editorial board? What a fucking idiot.

1. I saw that one
over the weekend. I can't remember the weasels name from the WSJ, I also can't remember him saying anything bright. Real Time is the only reason I keep HBO.

2. It was supposed to be John Fund from the WSJ
But it was the guy from the "Club for Growth" Fund wasn't there.

3. I'm trying to memorize many of his points -- I've seen him on a lot
of shows plugging his book....and that was his best performance IMO.

When even I applaud a christian conservative . . . that is noteworthy!

4. I think he's a reformed "conservative"
Agreeing that Jesus would be a hippy?

Sounds like he's had a major revelation.

5. I wish he'd get more of the flock to drink some of *his* Jesus
Juice.

He seems like a pretty cool dude.

6. Yup...
I LOVED the Tolkein reference...cracked me up.

Sounds like he understood a lot to begin with and is totally disgusted by what's going on in the WH and on the Hill these days.

8. Most nerds have a big streak of decency in them...
Comes from being stepped on most of their lives by dumbasses like the ones running D.C. these days.
