LTTE-Need your help translating Republican to English

My next LTTE I plan to publish a GOP-speak crib sheet as a guide to voters, but I need your help.
Pick your favorite republican catchphrase, cliche or meme and then write what it really means. I would also ask your permission to use it in my LTTE.

here are a couple of mine:

1. Responsibility/Accountability- It’s Clinton’s fault

2. Freedom on the March-more casualties expected

3. Fiscally Conservative-huge deficits and crippling national debt

4. Lower gas prices/Alternate energy sources-only applicable in the period immediately preceeding an election cycle

5. Stay the Course-obsolete phrase, see “Adapt to Win”

6. Adapt to Win-Stay the Course

2. The Iraq War will be a comma in history

Just like the Battles at Marathon, Salamis, Thermopylae, Cannae, the Teutonberg Forest, The Fall of Rome, Tours, the Norman Invasion of England in 1066, the Crusades, Crecy, Agincourt, the Fall of Constantinople, etc, etc. All of them just commas.

I'd stick to just those few. The longer the editorial the less likely it is to get published. The few you have will have more impact.

4. problem with three

"Fiscally conservative" should be more something about only worrying how much money you take in; not how much you spend.

Bush has not been fiscally conservative at all. I'm fine with tax cuts. Yeah, tax cuts. I'd like to keep more money. The problem is that he cut taxes, but just said "hey, let's keep spending and spending!"

It doesn't take a brain surgeon to see if that if you take a pay cut in your job, but start spending 3x as much, there are probably going to be some problems.
