5. Well, I try to

do a little on repairing the voting system. Primarily, however, I'm interested in discussing the issues and educating my friends and acquaintances about them. If the system is as badly broken as some people on this site think, there is nothing that can be done, especially after Alito gets in. Off to France!! But I don't really think that it is. Although I have no doubt that fraud occurred.

I think right now we are not "losing", but are not winning, either, in the hearts and minds of the American voter. I don't know whether we need to frame our issues better, re-examine our issues, explain them better, simplify them more, ignore some issues and concentrate on others where we know we have the edge, or just what. But that's what I would like to find out, or better, have the Dem leaders find out. If they can't keep it close to even, then they can't steal enough votes to turn the election. Or so I keep telling myself.
