Fox Responds To Limbaugh Accusation
Actor Responds To Claim He Was Off His Meds In Political Ad: 'My Pills Are Working Really Well'

WASHINGTON, Oct. 26, 2006

(CBS/AP) His body visibly wracked by tremors, actor Michael J. Fox appears in a political ad that was the subject of widespread discussion on Monday after conservative radio commentator Rush Limbaugh claimed Fox was "either off his medication or acting."

On Tuesday while in suburban Chicago campaigning for Democratic candidate for Congress Tammy Duckworth, Fox shot back.

"I'm kind of lucky right now. It's ironic, given some of the things that have been said in the last couple days, that my pills are working really well," Fox said.

snip...
On his Web site Tuesday, Limbaugh appeared to back away from his accusation.

"All I'm saying is I've never seen him the way he appears in this commercial for Claire McCaskill," says Limbaugh. "So I will bigly, hugely admit that I was wrong, and I will apologize to Michael J. Fox, if I am wrong in characterizing his behavior on this commercial as an act, especially since people are telling me they have seen him this way on other interviews and in other television appearances."

sigh... I can't believe this is even an issue.

1. The ignoramouses voting Yes should visit a nursing home

And spend some time chatting with Parkinson's patients. Of course they won't, as that would require some measure of empathy and compassion, not to mention a willingness to admit to being wrong.

26. Rush Limbaugh would call Jewish concentrations fake if it meant
keeping his Fuhrer in power and if he lived during the late 1930's early 1940's

Obligatory Limbaugh joke.

Why did Rush Limbaugh have so many wives? They refused to Mount Rushmore.

Where is their "Is Rush a hateful, bigotted gas-bag?" poll?
I'd vote in that one. I don't want to go to CBS's site, though...what if I get Katie Cooties? I might go all perky on y'all!

11. ROFLMAO
I'm in a wheelchair. someone at work was bitching about all the handicapped spaces. I asked her if she's seen how people drive in parking lots and is she willing to put her life in those people's hands trying to get from the back of the parking lot to the front door.

12. The comments at the end were enlightening.
Where are their minds? I thought the comment about Michael not having to go over the border to get his meds rather fitting.

Whether Michael took the meds or didn't take the meds before the shooting is irrelevant... At the end of the day, Michael still has Parkinson's disease. Give the poor guy a break.

I truly believe Rush has mental problems that need to be worked on.

24. Disgusting! Running a poll as if it was a debatable issue.
For crying out loud it's an accusation made by an admitted drug addict and known liar. Instead of running a poll they should be running editorials calling for Clear Channel to fire his fat ass.
