please unFreep this poll on NJ same-sex marriage
New Jersey's Supreme Court Has Ruled That Same-Sex Couples Should Have The Same Rights As Heterosexuals. If You Were Allowed To Vote On The Issue, Would You....

The choices are Vote Yes; Vote No; and keep things as is with Civil Unions (we have that here in Connecticut)

6. Ugh...we don't even have civil unions. Our "domestic partnerships"
only offer *six* of the rights that marriage does.

7. Yes vote is divided into two
There are more supporting than not, but it is divided because of the "keep civil unions" choice whih may be confusing to some.

8. The very question is confusing.
Respondents may be wondering: does "yes" mean granting equal rights, or yes to banning same-sex marriage (the only referendum that ever reaches their ballots)?

And it's all a crock, because civil rights should never be voted upon.
