This Election in two Words: Hope vs. Fear
The Democrats offer hope, the Republicans offer fear.

Democrats offer hope for

a foreign policy based on wisdom and inclusiveness
a strong, fair, and balanced economy
a healthcare system that benefits everyone
a new direction in environmental policy

The Republicans offer fear of fundamental American values:

freedom of speech
freedom of (all) religion
human rights
human equality
science and innovation
and a fair and balanced government.

2. I saw this on a church sign this morning:
"perfect fear drowns out love"

A simple and apt statement, I thought.
