The Editor has the power
That's why every single person that listens to straight news that has the ability to record it in some fashion ought to consider becoming the media. Make an MP3, record your local city council meetings, school board, and then, put them on the internet

I was reading an article about Bush's press conference this morning. They left out a couple of things *I* think are important, such as Bush's attitude about not obeying the law. CNN's headline on the internet is about Hamas.

Thus, the person that edited the clips or decides what to put is the one who is defining what others see. The pushback has to be to create for others what the editors in corporate media do not disclose.
