Poor Turnout Plagues Focus On the Family Events
Poor Turnout Plagues Focus On the Family Events

Surprise, surprise. Looks like Focus on the Family's campaign to influence the upcoming elections isn't going as planned. Get the full story at the DefCon Blog.
http://ga3.org/ct/l72gNX91xXUd/

In August, James Dobson announced a series of "Stand For the Family" Get Out The Vote rallies featuring Dobson, Tony Perkins, Gary Bauer, and what they had hoped would be thousands of supporters. Unfortunately for them, things didn't go as planned. Low attendance forced organizers to move the events from arenas capable of holding up to 18,000 people to small auditoriums and, in one case, a local church.

Looks like people are finally catching on to their deceptive tactics.

The desperation of the religious right is increasing by the day. Stay tuned to the DefCon blog for breaking updates on their hypocrisy – like what they had to say about the Mark Foley scandal and David Kuo's allegations that the White House referred to the religious right as "nuts."

3. Ha!
You should see their "world headquarters". It towers over I-25 like a castle on a hill. They must have sunk tens of millions of dollars into that place. The middle school around the corner supposedly cost 12 million dollars. I'd bet that FoF's pad is at least five times bigger than the school, and a hell of a lot nicer.

4. I guess they will just have to hop on their private jets....
and wallow in self pity lounging in their gigantic multi million dollar mansions. How pleasing they must be to God. They are living their lives according to the scriptures of the Savior. They put the needs of the poor and downtrodden before their own, etc. :sarcasm:

5. The wind has shifted and their followers are now 'downwind' of
the likes of Bauer, etc, and those skanks stink to high heaven.

Finally, people are revolted by these blowhards.

7. Too f*ing bad!
They've been writing in letters to the editor quite often in the Denver Post and Rocky Mtn News. Same ol' tired "gays are evil" crap they've been spewing for years.

People are on to them. Even their own distict is running the tightest race EVER!

8. We had 4 house parties for Jay Fawcett in CD-5
last night, and raised a bunch of money for him. People here are sick to death of the Repug right. Even in Colorado Springs, they think the religious right has destroyed the school system and ruined the city's reputation.

She just gets LIVID at the Repugs.

Go Fawcett! I even gave him some money, and I'm in Denver!

11. Poor poor pitiful persecuted "Christians"
I can't imagine Jesus even acknowledging them as His followers.

I consider them CINO's, but really aligned with the Other side

17. I want video. I want PHOTOS. I want PR, you SOBs.
after their attack ads, their aggresive lies and their bushllit.
And I want to savor their empty theaters and meeting halls and smile.

18. What I would love to see FoF
go bankrupt and shut down the Colorado Springs facility and go out of business, and Dobson in jail for tax evasion or something.
