How many Republicans do you need to perpetrate election fraud? |
|
How many Republicans knew of the fraud in 2004? We know Jeb and Blackwell and Taft had to know.
But what about Republicans in the new Floridas/Ohios?
The five "tossups" left are Missouri, NJ, Virginia, Tennessee and Montana. So how do you do it? Get your ducks in a row just in case?
I really think that in Florida in 04, the "fix" was put in when it was obvious Kerry was winning. When Jeb said "let me make some calls."
But even for the most corrupt isn't there too much risk to involve so many more people?
Or hell, maybe you need none of that. Maybe you just need one programmer (the same one you used in 04) who could tap into the dbase in each state.
One things for sure - In 04 the only explanation they had for poll divergence was that the Christian Right came out in droves. That won't hold water this time.
Just think, the next best thing if we don't gain control might be a major expose of Republican elections fraud.

One to put electronic voting machines into use.
One to run for office.
One to reprogram the electronic voting machines to create votes for the Republican running for office.
One to "impartially" validate the vote.
Five to sit on the Supreme Court and rule that the electronic voting machines were accurate.
One to spin the results as "the clear will of the people."

3. Very good. But, "One to "impartially" validate the vote." |
|
If a programmer taps into the dbase during the voting process, you wouldn't have to know that the vote totals were wrong, would you?

2. They will find excuses to explain the irregularities in the polls... |
|
"One things for sure - In 04 the only explanation they had for poll divergence was that the Christian Right came out in droves. That won't hold water this time."
I think they already have their talking point as to why at the last minute the polls are wrong again. They will say Carl's genius plan, the 72 hour plan, worked. "He is so smart, and has done it again." Then the world will move along and once again we will have a stolen election and with no whistle blower we can't prove it.
Also, they may use the Jersey gay legislation to say it stirred up the base and caused a last minute rush at voting.

4. Well, he'll definitely have his work cut out for him. In a |

two man race it's much easier. He'll have to explain away two races this time. (that is, if they have to cheat in MO, VA, and/or TN. Right now, it's looking good for them in each state.

The theme was planted early this year, with pundits talking up the way the GOP "outperforms their poll numbers," with variations floated each week - Karl Rove's ground game, the 72-hour plan, the well-organized GOP base, the enormously (stat-defying, actually) Republican GOTV plan.
It's sickening because it's unfolding in front of our eyes, AGAIN, and everyone's looking the other way.

catch them in the act with lots of proof this time. They are going to try to steal it. I just hope we catch them. If we do I hope we can expose the whole mess from 2000 to now.

8. To actually flip votes |

not many at all - just hack into the central tabulator and voila
Now the voter suppression takes many more folks - but that has been VERY out in the open and nothing is really being done to stop it.
I know people who scoff at me when I discuss election fraud - they think that you need to have someone cooperating in every precinct etc etc etc - and don't think its possible to get that many people involved - and I agree - I just don't thing you need that many people involved -without a paper trail - all you need is a few hackers here and there to hack into the central tabulator and voila - hell maybe you only need one hacker
Combine that with the very public voter suppression - and there you have it - I have been desperately worried about this happening in this election for months - and recently - less than the past few weeks - have been a bit hopeful - but now with reports of machine "problems" all over the place already - I'm beginning to think I got optimistic for nothing.
Folks there is NO WAY that this election should not be a POLITICAL BLOOD BATH for the repunks - the only way is if they rig the votes - and without a paper trail we have damn better be doing exit polls or parallel elections....
