"Deliveries of weapons and military hardware and assistance in operating, servicing, maintaining and modernizing them are particularly promising for the development of military-technical cooperation with Argentina," he said.
"The Argentinean Armed Forces have outdated weapons and military hardware produced primarily in the United States and Europe. A considerable part of them is not combat-worthy or partially combat- worthy," he added.
Military cooperation and arms trade will feature high on the agenda of negotiations between Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov and his Argentinean counterpart Nilda Garre in Moscow on Friday, the spokesman said.
