Conservative columnist on Bush meeting: "there was no one whispering in his ear"

<snip>

Parker, like others who have met Bush, said the president does better in smaller settings like Wednesday's meeting. "He is much more knowledgeable and articulate than Americans know," the columnist commented. "He didn't fumble for words, and there was no one whispering in his ear. He is much better on his feet when not facing down a camera."

Of course, it helped that Bush was with a relatively sympathetic audience. "It wasn't a roomful of David Gregorys," joked Parker, referring to the NBC chief White House correspondent who has asked Bush and his press secretaries some tough questions. But Parker said the conservative columnists also asked some tough questions on Wednesday.

1. Wow, bush more comfortable in a roomful of ass kissing syncophants?
Yeah, sure don't want a David Gregory to ask a real question huh? Bill Clinton had no problem in front of the cameras or in a roomful of real reporters. And gosh the Big Dog could think on his feet.

"Knowledgeable and Articulate?" That's not what the base wants. They want an ignorant proud dumbass and they got what they voted for.

3. I know people who worked with him as governor, and they say he's an idiot
in small groups, too. And a drunk. And he ain't as faithful to Laura as the hagiography would want you to think.

4. Documenting those truths would go a long way toward winning
this election.

9. One of my friends gave a story to a free-lancer in 2000
about Bush drinking and being drunk in the Governor's Mansion. It was independently verified by several other people. The story was killed because Bush's people said he had been drinking near beer, and the witnesses misunderstood.

They have a powerful machine to squash stories. Ask James Hatfield or Dan Rather. They don't go after the facts in the story, they go directly after the reporter. Hearsay stories just aren't worth the trouble.

6. Gosh...how did I know "Parker" would refer to Kathleen The Shill?
Oh, gosh, breaking news, Kathleen Parker thinks Bush is intelligent and articulate. And she does so even as she acknowledges the leader of the free world can't give a fucking speech without being told what to via an earpiece.

7. "staring down a camera" ...
The funny thing about these people are they are so insanely deluded, they don't get that even at face value, their hairbrained rationalizations still make themselves look like retards ...

So, the president of the united states ... The most powerful man in the world, the leader of the greatest nation the planet has ever seen, somehow is thrown off by an innate object ... These freaks speak it, there fellow freaks nod in adoring acknoledgement and somehow, in their minds, it makes it all OK ...
