Via email, discussing their "Call for Change" program where volunteers sitting at home in front of their computers phone potential voters:


Just had to tell you: So far we've made more than 215,552 calls since Monday. The momentum's just huge—all of our staff are feeling it.

I think you know this, but the grand finale of this campaign—when we call back through all the voters we've talked to and get 'em to the polls—starts next Friday. So we only have 6 days left to call through our list and find enough progressives to tip the election.

Bottom line: we've gotta make a lot of calls tonight. We're aiming to break our Friday record and make 30,000 calls today, and we can do it if everyone does their part.
