Cost to buy Congress? $2.6 billion
Political spending is projected to reach $2.6 billion in 2005-’06, making this the most expensive congressional campaign in history, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

How do we get government out of the hands of those with money and back to serving the interests of the people? With that kind of money at stake, who do you think they serve, us or their corporate masters?
