Is Right Wing "Think Tank" an oxymoron?
These were the smart guys who came up with the following ideas:

That the Iraqis would greet us as Liberators
That we could pay for the cost of the war with Iraqi Oil
That we would be in and out of Iraq in a matter of months
That Social Security Privatization would be a good thing

Thanks a lot, Nostradummies!

2. "Think tank" is an obvious misnomer
The proper word is propaganda mill.

3. I call them "stink tanks"..
... their only purpose is to find a way to make thoroughly odiferous ideas smell tolerabe. :)

4. Only if we consider a "Think Tank"
to be a very well schooled, intellectual, and moral group of men and women with the best interests of ALL of American citizens.
Like everything else, the NeoCons have redefined the word to suit their own ends, and in the process, have sold us all (even the fools who support our Dear Leader) down the river.

5. Don't confuse their propaganda for what they actually think.
Money buys you bright people. Right wing think tanks are full of bright people.

6. A right-wing think tank
is where right-wingers gather to discuss ways to manipulate the thoughts people think  so they can achieve their goal of perpetual power. :nuke: They probably discuss ways to stay at war, cause "war is good for the(ir) economy." :patriot: And they don't want to dilute their ideas, or ruin their plans with moral or ethical considerations. Right-wing think tanks are where the true "plotters and planners" operate. Al Qaeda ain't got nothin' on them!
