O'Reilly LIES on Letterman... |
|
claims the Ansar-al-Islam in N. Iraq were "affiliated" with Iraq. This is total bullshit and 100% opposite of the truth. And he acted all smart because Dave had never heard of them!
The blood is on your hands, O'Leilly, for persuading the sheeple that Saddam was a dangerous Islamist!
But perhaps we should forgive poor Bill, since he was only repeating Powell's lie to the U.N.

2. Saying Saddam and Iraq had ANY ties with Islamic fundies |
|
Edited on Sat Oct-28-06 02:38 PM by noahmijo
is like saying The Gay Pride Alliance is associated with The westboro baptist church.
Wingnut idiots can't even learn the first lesson of battle-know your enemy.
"I want to fight Saddam, an infidel I want to wage Guerrila War in Iraq" -bin Laden 1990
If any nation is a friend of Islamic militants and bin Laden it would be Pakistan-whom I don't advocate war against but point being THAT is the nation that pressure should've been put on.

The US protected the Kuridsh area |
|
Ansar al-Islam was in the Kurdish area.
Therefore the US was in cahoots with Ansar al-Islam and protecting terrorists.
In O'Liely world anyway.

3. That was pathetic of Bill to use such an ultra-lame example |
|
I was a little disappointed that Dave was not aware of this group as I knew they were autonomous and not under the control of Saddam.
Anyway, just another Bill O'Liely lie - is that a big surprise?

7. It pisses me off when RW assholes.... |

keep spouting bullshit that has already been debunked. They are lying to our faces. Just once I'd like to have someone point out their lies and make them explain why they keep lying. Don't let them off the hook, keep at them until they ADMIT they are lying.
Dave did a good job of bitch-slapping B.O. but he can't be expected to refute the minutia of the RW spin. That's our job. LOL

8. What About That Ricin Lie? |
|
IRC, Answar-al-Islam was based in Kurdish territory and that our military never bothered to invade the camp in the mad-dash to Baghdad. Maybe someone else here remembers similar reports.
Now what's the deal with the Ricin attack on London? Or is this more Black Helicpoter/wishful thinking from the same morons who think the weapons are hidden in Syria or under Jack Murtha's bed.
I was disappointed that Dave didn't ask one of the most obvious questions that O'Reilly and other wingnuts can't explain...first...what real threat was Iraq to this country that it was necessary to invade. Kudos to Dave for bringing up the hypocrisy about North Korea and bringing up oil as a major factor of the invasion. The other question is what O'Reilly and his ilk define as "victory". They'll talk themselves into circles on that one.

9. They were operating in an area under our protection |

and not under the power of Saddam. Using them to justify invading Iraq is sort of like using the prisoner abuse in Guantanamo Bay to justify invading Cuba.
