There is no sport better than politics. Isn't your blood pumping? Can't you feel it? The excitement, the intensity! Man, this is such a rush. Will they filibuster? Will they fold? This guy jumped ship, this guys a hero! AHHHHHH!!!! Man, it's great to be an American!

6. I am not excited because I feel I know what the outcome will be |
|
but usually politics does make my heart beat faster, like presidential elections and such. I figure I know how today will turn out so i have resigned myself to that.

14. I don't think people suffering is fun. Trying to get power away from |
|
elites who have no conscience is not fun. It is sad and hard and work and rarely fruitfull at this point. But democracy is all we have.

The life of our country and our future is at stake. Maybe it is a sport, but the stakes are just way too high.

16. this isn't a political game for me... this issue goes to the soul of our |
|
nation.
and I don't love the fact that, the ability to resolve the current Constitution Crises, rests on whether or not the presidents high crimes and misdeamors will be dismissed by a rubber stamp court, once Alito is seated.
so no, i don't love this shit at all. And right now, it doesn't feel so good to be American under the rule of Neo Fascists, with a stupid fucking electorate who doesn't even fucking realize it.

19. I don't understand... why is it great to be an American? |

I can understand your excitement, but there's been politics since the first tribes roaming Africa. There's still politics all over the world.
Sometimes I wonder, I really do.
