Greenfield, CNN: filibuster pressure from liberal blogs -- like NYT???
Edited on Thu Jan-26-06 04:12 PM by DeepModem Mom
Said it came from liberal core of the Dem party, party activists. Does he not read the NYT? Can ANYONE in the press put ANYTHING in terms other than political? This is not political. It's about our Constitution, and the system the Founding Fathers left us -- and its present endangerment.

1. Pittsburgh Steelers favored to win Super Bowl, say left-wing liberals.
That liberal, left-wing Weather Channel says it's going to rain. Show em up and leave your raincoat home!

;)

Sorry, just letting off a little steam.

5. That is actually damned AMUSING!!!
And a FINE comeback, indeed!! Best of all, it is MEMORABLE.

I will try to remember to use examples like that when I hear those lame stream media nitwits pontificating!!

2. Send that to him
he needs to hear it. It won't change what he says but it might make him feel a little guilty next time he lies about it.

4. Just as predicted - they will spin it into appeasing the base.
Expect Dem pundits to join in the smearing.

6. Blogs are made up of PEOPLE, fer cry-eye! Just like Soylant Green!
Blogs are American citizens, real human beings, not like a computer program or Dick Cheney.

Jeff Greenfield is great at the whore-speak.

7. RFK rolls in his grave daily...
That this twit used to work for him.

I'd ask him how important 'party activists' are to the Democrats in the Senate. WE are the ones who walk our wards knocking on doors, drive people to the polls, register voters, give money and more importantly OUR TIME trying to get them elected.

Take that away, and what do you have? No party. Just determined Republicans and a very apathetic population.

So, I'd say it's kinda important, Jeffie, that Senate Democrats listen to us once in a while...not all the time, but on issues we care passionately about we deserve a fucking hearing.

8. you're right
This was a man who used to not only support, but beautifully and artfully articulate RFK's policies.
To see him become an empty husk, a soul-less joke, is very disturbing.
