A SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM PDA ENDORSED CANDIDATE TONY TRUPIANO

We are 12 days out and the activity in the campaign office is happening fast, furious and fantastic. We are waiting on some key newspaper endorsements, but have had some positive press of late. Here are two links:

These are from a paper that covers 98% of the district and has endorsed my opponent for everything he has run for. We expect to find out this weekend who they will endorse this time. Either way, they have been fair with this progressive candidate. They have also been printing many positive letters for the campaign. In other media news, I have spent some time on air with Peter Werbe and Sam Seder on Air America (thanks Billy). There is much more to come in the last two weeks.

The pace is amazing and empowering. A recent poll showed me within three percentage points of my opponent and that news has energized the staff and the 11th Congressional District. We have also seen a radical increase in volunteer hours and donations to the campaign. But, with that said, we still need more bodies and money. PLEASE consider giving as much as you can. If I can raise $10,000 by Monday we can get on television. You are the difference, so please consider donating to the campaign even if you already have. My victory will be for all of us and for PDA which has done more for me and the campaign than anyone else.

As I close let me just share that 14 months ago I began a journey to take back America and to help build a national feeling of possibility. I want to borrow your voice on Capital Hill and bring our collective soul to the legislative process. I want to demonstrate to a proud country that people of passion and purpose serve at the will of the people and that the phrase “We the People” is a sincere reflection of the way our country leads, not a slogan on a piece of paper.
