"Wait until 'Dave' finds out about Smith and Wesson."
That also came in on April 13, 2006. By this time, I'd been spending quite a bit of time up on Capitol Hill, sharing the Halliburton information.

I passed this along to the DOJ as well. Their response:

7. I am following your story Dave. Whats up for this week ?
Anything explosive ready to pop? You see I am a self serving punk, who would love to see another republican/fascist scandal break the week before the election. BIGTIME. I am hoping this country does not face a major convulsion, due to a lack of confidence in the election results. Too many Americans have severe doubts concerning confidence in elections. The Retention of one party rule would be a big blow.

8. "These Things (Indictments) Take Time," Says One Career Prosecutor...
... who also notes that lots of time has now been spent.

Does that mean indictments are now imminent? I don't know for sure.

What I do know is that - regardless of whether indictments are announced this week or not - the story is about to break, "Big Time," as Cheney himself might say.

14. I'm guessing that it also doesn't hurt...
...that the major federal law enforcement bureaucracies are smelling change on the wind. Not that who's chairing the Appropriations Committee would EVER enter as a factor in their decisions about which of the many demands on them should move up in the queue.

realistically,

17. To me it sounds like Kerry is an idiot
Some kind of honor about prosecutorial conduct? When one side is running the justice department and playing unfair, thats when its the duty of people with evidence to take it into the press. Thats the whole point of whistle blower laws. To give the weak party in a situation an outlet to air grievances.

22. how did he do the right thing?
he left the fox in the hen house, to continue to be able to influence any investigation. If there is evidence of the executive branch influencing a judicial investigation, getting the evidence out to the people is the best thing that can be done. The only explanation I could see, is that the evidence was shakey and more digging had to be done. If thats the case than there was no choice really.

24. Look what happened in IranContra. Kerry had built an impressive case
Edited on Mon Oct-30-06 01:16 PM by blm
pretty much on his own for a year, and then when the Dem leadership saw it was going to break big, they took it from his perview and tossed it to "senior senators" and then proceeded to make political hay and political deals which UNDERMINED the overall legal case.

Wouldn't this nation have benefitted more from North appearing only in front of a judge and jury for his crimes than with the immunity granted him by Senate Dems who didn't know the case even 1/10 as well as Kerry did?

21. You'd Think...
... it was in our blood.

"We need more men and women of raw courage who are willing to put EVERYTHING on the line in order to see justice done and fight evil."

After all, we have only to look at the conclusion of the Declaration of Independence, or a history book that describes the personal losses endured by many of the Founders, in actual adherence to their mutual pledge:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_states_declaration_of_independence#Conclusion

"And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm Reliance on the Protection of the divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor."

28. April 4, 2006 Was a Red Letter Day...
... looking back through the records:

There was quite a bit of House and Senate activity on one of my websites on April 4th. This was the day that one of the MC's staff put me in a room, with high-speed Internet access, and had me pull over redundant copies of data.

The IP addresses:

143.231.X.X (house.gov)

156.33.X.X (senate.gov)

156.33.X.X (senate.gov)

156.33.X.X (senate.gov)

Since that time, there has been a lot of various ".gov" traffic.

38. wow . . . fascinating reading . . . (to say the least) . . .
I must have missed your previous post(s), because this is the first I recall hearing any of this . . . not only is it interesting, it's also VERY important information that the public should know about . . .

that could be tough to accomplish, given the complexity of the whole thing . . . seems most people's capacity for absorbing and integrating complex information is, at best, limited . . .

a challenge that might be worth tackling is boiling your story down to the bare minimum in a way that communicates the basics AND grabs people's attention . . . your numbered narration is a good start, but most simply won't take the time or the effort to read it through and follow the story to the end . . .

keep plugging . . . and good luck . . .
