Repigs like this would have told Columbus not to sail to India because, after all, the World is flat.

Is the exact opposite of the idea that Republicans tout of this being a great nation, in which our children have more opportunities and a brighter future than their adults.

7. A Repig friend just refuses to handle the truth about stem cells

This guy, a friend who otherwise is a good person, can't get over how he can be against stem cell research (calls it cloning) yet is for in vitro fertilization and doesn't get how embryos are thrown out...instead of being used for science.

if someone suggested 100 years ago that we would be able to cure infections using a medicine dirived from mold it would have been considered a hoax, too.

Just because the research is in its infancy does not mean that it holds no promise. If we quit before we even get started we will never know for sure what could come of it.

Rush and Levin and Coulter are the equivalent of Cliff Clavin with a microphone. It doesn't matter whether what they say is "true." It matters whether it's entertaining, and can sell advertising.
