Didn't Michael J Fox campaign for a Republican a couple years ago? |
|
Over supporting Stem Cell Research? I've tried googling, but can't find it.

is stem cell research and he openly admits that he will support politicians "of either stripe" who support it. I respect his motives, but feel that it is a little naive. Republicans aren't going to do a damn thing for him.

That's what he's saying.
Not entirely; others with Parkinsons will benefit, but people of money and fame usually get prefential treatment. Even if it is deserved (for MJF, it is deserved... one hell of an actor, even if some of the shows or movies he did were lame...)
still, and again, he's deserving. So don't take me out of context too much. :)

And many thousands could benefit, but folks like Specter and Hatch aren't going to get anything done on this issue, whereas put some Dems in those seats and the dynamic shifts.

They must court all "suitors".. It may seem naive, but whoever controls the purse-strings controls their destiny, and they know it. Reeve did it too.. Bono does it. they all do it

8. I believe he's done ads for 2 or 3 Republicans. Nothing wrong with that. |
|
He's a stem cell research activist. That's his issue, and he'll support the people who agree with him on that issue.

10. We should all call Arlen Specter |
|
and ask why he has stood aside and let Rush and all the wingnuts mock Michael's disease, and ask if Specter regrets having campaigned with him now -- and if Specter is really going to return Michael's money like some Rush callers have demanded.
