37. I can't think
of what official documents should be stored at the VP's mansion at all. This must be Cheney's own personal stash - of Halliburton receipts, Energy Task force meetings, & plans for world domination?

6. UH OH! I bet this is tied to the info that's supposed to come out
this week that involves Halliburton and Cheney. There's several posts on DU involving a whistleblower who used to work at KBR.

Although I;m not an attorney, I've been through several long investigations, and old Dickey just might find out it's illegal to intentionally destroy docs to protect your own hide!

Edited on Mon Oct-30-06 05:01 PM by SoCalDem

SHREDCO mobile shredding units can destroy up to 8,000 pounds of material per hour. Materials can consist of paper, computer printouts, bound documents/files, brochures, checks/forms, etc. There is no need to sort or prepare files; our shredder will easily grind file folders, paper clips and metal fasteners. We can also shred computer disks and

27. Cover Your Rig - ZZ Top...
If you been out messin' and actin' a fool
You best be confessin' hey, don't be cruel.
Just callin' attention you probably know
Don't hold on to nuthin', it's time to let go.
Lay baby I want 'cha, I'm hurtin' so big.
Take out some insurance, and cover your rig.
We talkin' resurrection to shred your head.
That certain possession you keep in yo' shed.
Don't wanna confuse you, muddy up yo' mind.
Let nothing abuse you or come from behind.
Say baby I want 'cha, I'm hurtin' so big.
Take out some insurance, and cover your rig.
If there's ever a question, take care of yourself.
Use your protection, be respecting yo'self.
Make no obligations, you can throw 'em to the wind.
Blind infatuations, the means to an end.
Say baby I want ya, I'm hurtin' so big
Take out some insurance, and cover your rig.

21. Some shredding companies
are quite 'lax'. I was able to buy/rent paper documents to use as set dressing from those companies on several occasions. Unfortunately, unless there is a patriot or e-bayer, I doubt we'll see what Dickie's dickering with here.

Edited on Mon Oct-30-06 09:27 PM by Marie26
I think this is funny. I have this image of Cheney in his bunker, furiously shredding. But they don't think the Democrats will take over Congress, right? I also love how the shredder in the photo has its own Secret Service escort. It's the sheer Republican panic, more than anything else, that convinces me they're not planning to steal this election. They have no plan.

As David Smith explained in his Halliburton thread, they can shred to their hearts content. Apparently cheney is a dinosaur and doesn't realize how deadly computers are. :D The goods are already in hand by those who plan to bust their ass.
