Mike Malloy on SF CA station 960AM ?
Heard a teaser on 960 The Quake, a bay area progressive radio station, that said Mike Malloy is coming to their lineup, but no more details.

Anyone know anything further?

Doesn't he start broadcasting again today from his new digs?

Also, last Friday when Hartmann was on, he said something about being "live" starting this week on the SF station -- but I haven't heard anything else (Al Franken has that spot right now, 9-noon).

KQKE's PD is working on bringing Malloy back to 960AM soon. I wrote about it this morning:

http://ltradio.blogspot.com/2006/10/malloy-nova-m-take-to-airwaves-today.html

Also, Thom Hartmann announced on his show last Friday that he will begin airing live 9-Noon PT on KQKE beginning next Monday. No word on where that leaves Franken, as Malloy may possibly get the 6-9PM shift.

Also, KPTK in Seattle plans to carry Malloy as soon as Nova M can smooth out some details. Stations in San Diego, Madison and Ann Arbor have also expressed interest in carrying the show.

10. Excellent! So I wasn't hallucinating from Malloy withdrawal?
This is fantastic, and if Hartmann takes Franken's slot, all the better!

Can't wait!

5. Here;s the link to Mike's show that I saved this morning.

Iknow it's a Ca. station, but not living there, I don't know exactly where it is. I will be streaming it from the above link.

I also read he was going to be on several other stations. Wa, AZ, Ca, I think. Sorry, I can't remember where I read all that or I'd provide a link.

6. That's KTLK in L.A.
http://www.progressivetalk1150.com/main.html

You won't find Malloy there. At least not yet.

So far, Malloy will only be on KPHX in Phoenix. Other stations will add him soon, but Nova M has to sort out some technical issues first before putting him up on the bird.

This thread here has some listening links for WMP and Winamp:

8. OOPS, I posted the wrong link. Here's the one I saved for Mike.

At this link, they have the Phoenix link and the one I'm streaming right now. I think it's directly from novaradio.

9. Teaser
This morning I heard a teaser on KQKE that there would be 'further upgrades to the programming lineup'. Heard nothing specific about MM. Has there been a specific tease since then? I hope I hope I hope??

11. Yes, I heard it again a few times today too
and they gave an actual date, but I didn't catch it.

But, the time slot will be the 6-9pm one!

12. November 6th. I finally heard the date!
Note to KQKE programming guy (or whoever is in charge of station promos):

I heard the announcement at least half a dozen times, about Mike coming to the station. Problem is, every time I heard it and realized what I was listening to, the date had already been said and I missed it. Yes, half a dozen times.

Finally today they re-did the promo, with Mike's name BEFORE the date, so I finally caught the date.

Shows how much I mentally tune out the commercials etc.
