they don't know. they have no idea. this is what my school taught me. i felt so sorry for them. ahhh...those poor people who live behind the iron curtain. they have no idea that they are being told lies and being held in captivity. now...40 years later...i have found the truth...we are them. we have all been lied to. we have all been told stories of disillusionment. we are not a free society. we have been lead to believe that we are, but we are surely prisoners. trouble is, they will have most of us fooled most of the time.

4. It will be okay. Sometime in the future..near future perhaps. After

the Iraq mess is over with. Maybe in a few months. With legislation coming from the House and committees asking questions.. it will be better. The world is far too connected for some rogues to get power with smoke and mirrors and keep it for long. It seems like this has been forever but really it has only been a few years. And when the Repuke party has to go back to its roots and when the Dems no longer fight orwellian double speak..you will appreciate every single day and all the little things. You'll be like that "greatest generation" who went through hell and then built a great country together. Cause they had been through bad times.. and they knew as a group..very deeply..what is important in life.

It made its billions by creating shoddy software, then selling repeated upgrades to fix problems that should never have existed in the first place. With predatory practices they undercut other, better software and operating systems and freeze them out of the market.

11. I don't think that having the House will be only a spark. Simply by

passing good legislation in the House..even if it doesn't make it past the Senate... it will show the clear alternatives Americans have 1) government that tries to solve problems vs. 2)a Bush Wh that tries not to solve problem. And it will be overwhelmingly obvious to all Americans which is best.

Which roots? The roots of the party that insisted on heavy-handed vindictive rule of the south after the civil war, creating animosities that have persisted to this very day? The party that took corruption and graft to new heights under Pres. Grant? The party that enabled the robber barons at the end of the 19th century, crushing the american labor movement with extreme violence, in order to preserve their profit margin? How about the party whose lassiez faire fiscal policies led to the extraordinary market excesses of the 20s which brought on the great depression? Whose Teapot Dome scandal foreshadowed the oil company corruption of half a century later? The party that saw the fascists and nazis as good business partners in the 30s, who saw them as natural allies against the communists, regardless of their own crimes? The party which whipped up red-scare hysteria that created the blacklists and ruined the careers of thousands in the 50s? The party that gave us Nixon in the 60s, and Reagan in the 80s, and...well...here we are.

Although little known outside of academic and anarchist circles in America and the UK at the time, the Situationist Internationale provided the philosophical underpinnings of the infamous May '68 worker and student riots in France. During the Seventies, English translations of various Situationist Theory texts became available for the first time and the radical ideas of Guy Debord and Raul Vaneigem reached a larger audience, but at such a late date, some have argued, as to have missed their historical moment.

But the full measure of the Situationist Internationale's influence has yet to be seen. The revolutionary ideas of the Situationists have spread throughout popular culture in unexpected ways (Adbusters magazine, punk rock, The Simpsons, political cartoonist Tom Tomorrow and Processed World magazine, to name a few). Thanks to the Internet, the once obscure Situationist texts which helped lead to the May '68 uprisings are only a click away. The seeds of unrest sown by Debord, Vaneigem and others may still bear more fruit. Remember, in the grand scheme of things, May 1968 is not ancient history: something similar can (and will) happen again . . .

For what once sounded so radical is now beginning to sound like common sense!

I do feel we could have done more sooner and fought harder to get the lies out to more people . Many have tried just not enough of us .

I feel guilt for all the deaths that are a direct result of this BCF and all the people who now joined the ranks of the poor and suffering in the USA .

I don;t know what we could have done or what I could have done specifically to prevent this tragic horror or how things will ever be the same for many including myself and all those here who have lost alot .

People never seem to learn and i can't say this time will prove any different .

All I can say is what a loss and sad time we live in .
