Black Box Voting - what's it gonna take?
I'm hoping that the recent FReeper freak-out over the possibility that Hugo Chavez might be part-owner in Seqouia Systems might get them to realize what we've been saying all along: that this is a non-partisan issue.
Unfortunately, the issue doesn't seem to be making much progress.

What is it going to take?

I am seriously beginning to believe that the only way that anyone will take this issue seriously is by demonstration.

For instance, if Mickey Mouse suddenly won the Senate Seat in several key races. Or the Congressional seat. Or any seat, for that matter.

Not that I would condone such action! But it would certainly wake a few people up and make them ask some questions.

1. Probably took twenty minutes
for the freeks to figure out it was all bullshit and their corporate control of the video game was safe.

Get some Dems to hack just one. That would do it.

2. I agree, it would only take one.
Just one voting machine to show some results that everyone knows was hacked. That's why I suggested "Mickey Mouse".

If Mickey Mouse won in just one race, no one could claim either party of cheating.

But everyone would know how easily the machines could be hacked.

Not that I'm recommending that anyone actually hack the machines, of course.

4. Demolition, not demonstration.
IMHO, of course.
