Rasmussen: Webb 51 Allen 46 |
|
I just got a bulletin on myspace that said it was part of Rasmussen premium.. I don't have an account over there to verify this but its great news and proves that the drudge/allen smear had the opposite effect and made them both look like jackasses (like that's hard)!!!
GO WEBB!!!!

6. I can think of some jackasses who'll probably be voting for him |
|
The jackasses at the tire shop in Bummfarq, Virginia, who laughed at me when my tire exploded at the gas station across the street.

5. God, the Republican smear-and-fear strategy is so pathetic, isn't it? |
|
Edited on Mon Oct-30-06 10:46 PM by Old Crusoe
Corker in TN runs ads with a comely woman beckoning Ford. If you are a mom or dad, or a grandparent for that matter, how do you sit and watch television that evening in Memphis or Knoxville with an 11-year old? Or a 15-year old? It's embarrassing, and I think the mom or dad or grandparent will wind up blaming Corker for piping the ad into their living room instead of Harold Ford, who merely went to a party on his own free time, which, last time I checked, is the proper domain of single people.
Then Cement-Head Allen runs attacks on Jim Webb's novels, with Drudge driving the get-a-way car, quoting the erotic passages. If you can't handle a few erotic passages in a novel now and then, as far as I'm concerned, you're a wuss. There are a lot of writers, pro and amateur, and a lot of readers and learners in Virginia, and I doubt if they were especially amused by Allen's anti-intellectual character assassination, especially when John McCain's name appears on one of the blurbs on the book. If McCain endorses it, how bad could it be? He's super-conservative and well-liked in many Virginia circles.
And in any case many original Virginians wrote this document one time in olden days that says free speech is important.
Allen's an idiot and a bully.

7. Conventional wisdom when a candidate is polling "majority" |
|
Edited on Mon Oct-30-06 10:46 PM by longship
When a candidate is polling at 50% or more, the general thinking is that the candidate pretty much has a lock on the race. With Webb in the majority, it's going to be extraordinarily difficult to dislodge him from the lead.
So, there are now two polls with Webb at 50% or over. That means Macaca is in big trouble. Watch things tip-over for Webb the next week. Any undecideds are going to only increase Webb's lead.
Gallup Webb 50/Macaca 46
Rasmussen Webb 51/Macaca 46
We're going to take VA Senate folks.

9. Gallup is *also* putting Webb over 50% |
|
That's *two* polls, which means that they are likely not outliers.

I believe the combination of immigration to Northern Virginia and the deep dissatisfaction of military people in Hampton Roads has already made Va. a blue state!
We're going to WIN in Va and Tn!!!!

The Republican Prez candidate is now justifiably fighting just for survival...Now though, all the stops will come out... If the Dems fight till the end as the repukes absolutely will, Webb has it...excluding their voting machines...like in Georgia?

This is fabulous news! My husband and I know of 4 republicans that we play golf with and they're crossing over and voting for Webb. Even upper-middle class is turning. Wanna know why? The value of the dollar and the debt their party has created. :D
