I am NOT afraid of Karl Rove!!!
I'm amazed at people that are genuinely afraid of this man. He. Is. Not. Anything. He's a pedantic, pontificating, pretentious bastard, a belligerent old fart, a worthless steaming pile of cow dung, figuratively speaking.

One of his last desperate maneuvers is being launched right now. Trying to strike fear and doubt into Democratic voters. I really hope this isn't working. Hopefully, most people are smart enough to realize that this man is not some god-like overlord. He's a very weak man that's drawing nearer and nearer to irrelevancy despite what CNN might tell you!

COME ON! SHOW SOME ENTHUSIASM! WE'RE GOING TO START THE LONG ROAD TO TAKING THIS COUNTRY BACK NEXT WEEK! LET'S DO IT!

1. Thank you!!!!!!
Rove is not a fucking "genius" and I get so tired of hearing that. He's a bully. Yeah, he's not stupid, but he's not invincible, he's not untouchable, and I am not afraid of him either. Thanks for posting this!

3. If Rove were so smart, the country wouldn't be such a mess.
It's all hype. He can win elections but he can't govern. History will see him as an ugly demonic soul. He will be remembered as the idiot who brought down the great country that was America.

4. Amen to that!
Rove's ONE & ONLY political 'project' has been G.W. Bush - a man who will inevitably go down in history as the Worst.President.Ever.

Yeah, that's genius all right.

5. The issue isn't his intelligence. The issue is that he controls the money,
and hence the votes. First, Rove has a sophisticated network of local voting regions that get "the base" to turn out to vote vs. staying home. Second, Rove can persuade both the base and corporations to cough up money in exchange for future payback. Third, he takes that money and distributes it according to the candidate's unwavering promise to deliver that payback promise he made. That's another reason why there are no moderate or liberal republicans, because if they "doublecross" Rove and his patrons, they're frozen out of the campaign funds, if not replaced by another candidate of Rove's choosing.

6. That turn out the vote thing isn't going to materialize
Just a prediction I have based on anecdotal evidence, so take that as you will. I have many Republican friends, being a former one myself. They're not excited about the election this year. I've never seen that before. Sure, they're into the local races and races for things like State House, but for Congress? They could care less. No, they're not going to vote Democratic, but their normal zeal just isn't there. They're not motivated at all. And that is NOT going to change just because the Republicans have Karl Rove. Karl Rove cannot get these people psyched up for next week.

Terri Schiavo.

Rove orchestrated that whole episode. He had Bu$h cut short his vacation to sign the bill in the middle of the night.

And what happened? It blew up in the Republican's collective face.

If Rove was such a "genius", then how could he have misread what the public's reaction would be??

Karl Rove is no genius.
