The Day After -- Even if Dems control all, BUSH has his Patriot Act |
That should scare the crap out of everyone. He'll likely be an angry, angry chimp, hurling his feces about, looking for all the right people to blame for embarrassing him on the world stage. He'll be beltin' back the Hamm's and Stoli, and he'll have all the tools at his disposal to go on a drunken rampage of revenge. The evil, un-American laws he was handed by the Rubber Stamp Congress virtually assure that every Democratic Party victor will instantly have his phones tapped and his e-mails read.
Winning is only the beginning. We need to implore Ms. Pelosi and the new leadership to act quickly to restore Constitutional protections, or the road to 2008 is going to be a hellish ride for everyone who stands in the Naked Drunken Emperor's path.

2. The best way to withdraw a terrible law like that... |
...is to attempt to enforce it. If the Dems take back the house AND sentate, look for the days of that horribly named and misguided piece of legislation to be numbered.
