I understand the point you are making. I also understand incognito's point. I think people are intelligent enough to know that they can find cities and zip codes for those Senators for whom feedback from their own state's constituents are critical, and out of state ones are easily dismissed.
Honesty is USUALLY the best policy. There are no absolutes.

And Salazar is a name being thrown around for higher offices. He has a future in politics and he seems like a nice person (from people that have met him). even though I am a former Wisconsinite who helped elect the underdog to the US Senate and even though I am constantly getting mail from Senator Feingold asking "how much do you and I agree?" I distinctly got the impression from the staffer that "you should call your own Senators"
