Bush-Cheney: Democrats want terrorists to win
"However they put it, the Democrat approach in Iraq comes down to this: The terrorists win and America loses," Bush told a raucous crowd of some 5,000 GOP partisans packed in the arena at an earlier stop at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Ga. "That's what's at stake in this election. The Democrat goal is to get out of Iraq. The Republican goal is to win in Iraq."

Democrats reacted sharply to the latest White House attacks. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada said Bush "resorted to the same tired old partisan attacks in a desperate attempt to hold onto power." House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco said Bush is looking to retain a "rubber-stamp Republican Congress that has done nothing to change our failed Iraq policy."

Cheney, meanwhile, said in an interview with Fox News that he believed insurgents in Iraq are timing their attacks to influence the American elections.

"It's my belief that they're very sensitive of the fact that we've got an election scheduled," he said. Cheney said the insurgents believe "they can break the will of the American people. ... That's what they're trying to do."

Putting Bush referring to Osama NOW and when he says he has no idea where he is has to be plastered all over the airwaves. I'll do the goddamn ad if nobody else will.

President Bush (September 13, 2001):
"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. It is our No. 1 priority, and we will not rest until we find him."

President Bush (March 13, 2002):
"I don't know where he is. I have no idea and I really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."

President Bush (October 30, 2006):
"I think a lot of the national Democrats believe that, you know, Iraq is a distraction and not part of the War on Terror. They've said so. And I strongly disagree.
One reason I disagree is because Osama bin Laden feels like Iraq is a part of this War on Terror."

3. Then explain why YOU were protecting and funding terrorists while Kerry was
working to expose the terror networks from 1985-1993?
Why were so many GOPs working to BLOCK the investigations into terror networks and their funding for so long?

Why did YOU stop enforcing Kerry's terror tracking legislation when you took office, Dick?

...completely destroyed as an organization, one race at a time if we have to. There can be no going back from creating a tragic historical example of them for future generations to see.

10. It would almost be funny if not so shameful
They're worried about influencing our elections? They were in their "last throes" a few years ago, but had to patiently hang on because they know November 2006 mid-term elections were coming in two years! Riiight.
Could even their brainwashed base believe this stuff anymore? It doesn't seem possible that any reasonably thoughtful person can't see through all the straw man arguments, not to mention the fact that the definition for "we need to win in Iraq", keeps changing.

17. Hey Dick....
....better get to work shredding all of those documents, you have less than a week to reduce your upcoming sentence a bit. Of course then there is time off for good behavior, and you may even get a job in the prison library. You and Duncan can share cells.
