1. warning
this is one of his "internet polls".

Thus far, highly unreliable.

5. Other polls indicate we are closing the gap..
but until Zogby shows me his interactive numbers work, well, I'll take them with a grain of salt.

13. The crazy thing is this poll shows an opposite trend
It shows Ned going from down 2 to down 4.

Everything else has Ned creeping back into single digits from double digits.

3. Zogby's interactive polls proved unreliable in '04
so I don't trust them. By Ras shows the margin closing with Ned within 8.

6. I Understand The Problems With Phone Polls
Lots of people don't answer...

Lot's of people no longer have landlines...

Etcetera...

But when you have a poll of self selected respondents you throw the whole theory of "random sampling" out the window...

I'm surprised the Wall Street Journal pays for that garbage...

11. young adults do not have landlines...
my son is young exec..college grad..working on wall street....in NYC and he doesn't own a phone in his apt..he only uses cell..and none of his friends have phones any longer..they all use cell phones!..all of them..so polling is not hitting the younger folks..the 20-30 age group..they do not maintain landlines any longer..its blackberries or cell phones!

4. It's An Internet Poll
Most of his polls are outliers...

Bill Nelson, Bob Casey, and Sherrod Brown have much bigger leads than Zogby indicates.

7. I think Lieberman will win
but it is going to be a close finish, and I won't be surprised if the final result isn't known until fairly late. Which I think Lamont could count as a victory of sorts.

8. Bloomberg just sent help to Lieberman
Edited on Tue Oct-31-06 12:03 PM by KurtNYC
which he wouldn't do if he and Lieb were confident. The momentum has gone back to Lamont (which makes it Ned-mentum). Bloomberg wants a commuter tax on CT residents so his "help" may backfire.

12. and Lamont just infused 2 mil of his own money into campaign..
so look for a fight to the wire!

people in the NE are fed up..so i do not believe any of the so called Little lord pissy pants polling companies!

we need to get the message out..that Richard Melon Scaife gave Lie Beer Man money for his campaign...

yes he is the Right wing conspiracy guy Hillary spoke of...

I called Hillary's office yesterday and ripped her a new asshole..and said she better get her ass up to Conn..and support Lamont..or we will know she is now tied to the hip of these "right wing conspiracy assholes!"

9. He's right on with Rasmussen's last poll of MN
I've not believed Amy's double digit leads were likely to hold.

Zogby's numbers in MO, TN and VA coincide with other recent polls.
