that the two "mixed" options (#2 and #3) in the ABC poll are identical?

No. Republicans will keep control of the House and Senate
Maybe. Democrats will lose House, gain Senate
Maybe. Republicans will lose Senate, gain House
Yes. Democrats will win both House and Senate
Toss Up. There will be a tie in either the Senate, House or Both

uh, "Democrats losing House, gaining Senate" is the same as "Republicans losing Senate, gaining House".

9. I always look at these polls to see what the
base is like, the R's stayed at about 30% during the summer
The D"s stayed at about 50%.
But today I will say the R's have lost it. 5%
