4. Which border, the U.S. has two; to the south with Mexico and to the
...north with Canada, at least these are the traditional land borders that are commonly referred to. There are also the ocean/sea borders which make up the rest of the frontiers which terrorists could penetrate. For example, Florida has some 1,500 miles of exposed coastline that could be penetrated under cover by anyone determined to get into the U.S. illegally. There is the continental Atlantic coastline, the continental Pacific coastline and the entire coastline of the state of Alaska. The U.S. is highly exposed if a determined enemy wishes to penetrate our borders.

15. Other countries live with terrorism as a fact of life
and they have long before 9/11, without "protecting their borders.. The odds of you being killed by a terrorist in the US are less than you being hit by lightning. Fear is how they control you.

7. first of all- 9/11 was NOT an "attack" or an act of war...
Edited on Tue Oct-31-06 01:36 PM by QuestionAll
it was a CRIME- don't buy into their propoganda.

"terrorism" is one of the absolute LEAST of our worries or reasons to fear for our lives in this country. in the past 10 years, it has been the cause of death of approximately 3,000 americans-

as a for instance- just drunk drivers alone kill more than 17,000 EVERY YEAR

what's the more legitimate thing to fear?

so why are we sacrificing the constitution to fight "terrorism"?

10. Since terrorism is an activity, it is like asking how many window washers or
murderers or hockey players crossed the border. How the fuck would anybody know?

11. It's impossible for the terrorists to come here since we're fighting them
over there. Once the Iraq War is over, we will again allow them to buy plane tickets.
