There are also the ocean/sea borders which make up the rest of the frontiers which terrorists could penetrate. For example, Florida has some 1,500 miles of exposed coastline that could be penetrated under cover by anyone determined to get into the U.S. illegally. There is the continental Atlantic coastline, the continental Pacific coastline and the entire coastline of the state of Alaska. The U.S. is highly exposed if a determined enemy wishes to penetrate our borders.
